THE RULES

1. respect. respect is the biggest rule, hence it being number one. respect the admins, they know what they're doing. respect other members, because they're just like you. no ooc drama, and if you do have it, keep it to yourselves and off the boards. if you're having problems with another member that you just can't seem to resolve amongst yourselves, please come and tell an admin, and we'll step in and handle it. that's what we're here for.

2. when it comes to characters, there are certain rules that have to be followed. the big three can only have three children, excluding canons, as a maximum, per god. all of the other gods will be monitored, and banned if there are too many kids for that one god versus the rest of the gods. when it comes to children of the big three, since the great prophecy is the prophecy that ets is now focusing on, there will be no original characters allowed to be sixteen or older, and they must stay this way. as in, they're not allowed to be fifteen, and turning sixteen. after you have one character, you have to wait two weeks from the date of acceptance of your first character to make your second character - and your first character must be active. our icon size is 150 x 200. all accounts must have their character's first and last name in all lowercase letters. for gods, "lord *insert name here*" and for goddesses, "lady *instert name here*" also in lowercase letters.

3. when it comes to applications, we're not too strict here on ets. you have one week to complete an application. if your app has not been completed, or the correct changes have not been made to the app, it will be moved to the denied board. if you wish to complete your app after it has been deemed inactive and moved to the denied board, pm a staff member and we'll unlock the thread and move it back to the pending board for you.

4. the site's word count is three hundred words. this isn't a hard word count to meet, and no ic post should be under this requirement. to make sure that your post meets or is above this minimum, there's a word counter when you post, for you to use as much as you like. as well as keeping to the word count, all posts need to be in third person. third person uses he, she, it, etc. no first person or second person point-of-view posts are allowed.

5. no mary sues or gary sues are allowed. a mary sue is a perfect character, meaning that they have no flaws, or anything of the sort. this won't be allowed. not only that, but no god-modding will be allowed, either. god-modding is when one character controls another character's action. unless you have gotten permission from the character's rp'er, this won't be allowed, and even then, don't make a habit of it.

6. this site is rated pg-13, as per proboards rules. occasional cursing, fine. no mature threads, as that goes above the rating. the password for the application is 'mythomagic'. if you want your character to become pregnant, or for them to die, pm one of the staff members and we'll discuss it and get back to you. no promises are made either way.
