The year is 1988 and technology is rapidly developing. In Los Angeles, California, a group of scientists has been working on a game said to be the first of its kind: fully interactive. The scientists have just completed production, but before they can release it to arcades they wanted to be sure it would be worth their time and money, so they put out ads for betatesters and selected a sample group they felt was the most diverse and most served their purpose. They were inside and their progress was being monitored. That's when disaster struck. Lighting hit the building and instantly the power went off. The scientists rushed to asses the damage, and someone in their haste accidentally locked the door. There's only one way they can ever return: turn on the emergency power switch, located at the end of the game. Starting from Level 1 the testers and the scientist must locate the portal that transports them to the next level, and the levels keep getting harder. And, to make matters worse, the game isn't functioning as planned. RULES - PLOT - CANONS - ADVERTISING
