Personality: Poseidon is a calm God. He is a nice man most of the time, and tends to often argue with his brothers. Poseidon is not afraid to fight anyone for the ones he loves, such as Percy. Poseidon does not like to get into his children's problems and businesses because he fears if he does they will often rely on him and never be able to live a life without him.
Though Poseidon appears young he is quite old and full of knowledge. He is a intelligent being who enjoys to read and think out side of the box. Though he is not as good as athena, he does work well with thinking outside of the box and making plans and strategies for wars. When angry poseidon will torture whoever has made him angry similar to how he had treated Odysseus. Though Poseidon is a nice guys, he is one you want to make sure you don't make a push over.

History:
At a young age Poseidon was born and swallowed by his cruel father Kronos. His dad believed one of his children would take his throne so he swallowed them. No one was happy with this, and they all trained inside the of Kronos in preparation for the day they would take his kingdom and get revenge.
Once Zeus infiltrated and tricked Cronos to drinking something that would release his brothers and sisters a war broke out. Poseidon had gotten his trident by Telekhines and him Zeus and Hades defeated and locked away all the titans. Once there father was defeated they decided to split the lands. Zeus got the Sky ,while Poseidon got the earth, and Hades got the Underworld.
Poseidon soon Married Amphitrite and they had children. Soon poseidon had more children with mortal women and other goddess. Soon Poseidon wanted to become the patron of the Athens. Athens elected Athena and soon Poseidon went into the temple of medusa and had a affair with her. Athena appeared and was scarred for life and made Medsua and her sisters ugly due to the fact they had been fooling around in her temple.
Soon there were powerful demigods all over the world, and then they decided to make a pact. The big three could not have any children due to the fact there was a prophecy that one of there children would be the rise or downfall of mount olympus. There children would be the most powerful demigods and also cause quite a lot of destruction after what had happened during the world war 2. Poseidon had broken this pact with having his child Percy Jackson.
Percy was accused of stealing the lightning bolt but later proved Zeus wrong by returning it and telling how the son of hermes had taken it. Soon Percy had gotten the golden fleece and saved camp half blood from destruction along with having saved the gods from war, Percy had truly proven to be a hero. Though Poseidon had broken the pact, the true question was why were all these halfbloods with powers similar to his brother appeared all of a sudden? Had the other three broken the promises just like Poseidon had?

RP Example:It was another day in the water. War had been waging for quite some time with the sea spirits, but this time it seemed they were serious and really wanted to overthrow Poseidon. Poseion was ready for any challenge, though if they were waging for another war could this mean danger was close to his brothers and the other God's of Olympus?
" Jeffrey I'll be back" Poseidon said as he walked toward the exit. The cyclops nodded and Poseidon left the ocean. Slowly water came fromm the ocean and immerged into a solid figure.. The figure was wearing a black short sleeve under armor shirt. He weared a hoodiee on top of his shirt with blue jeans. He had sea green eyes and sneakers on his feet. He looked like a innocent bystanderd but he was really a immortal.
As he walked in through downtown it seemed like a dark night in New York, but New York was always known as one of the noisiest cities on the face of the earth. It sometimes made Poseidon want to just flood the city to make them quiet. That would probably be frowned upon by the God's and could possibly lead to another debate, not argument, with Zeus
Truth was Poseidon and Zeus often got into "Debates" that go so intense that it would probably end up with Poseidon and Zeus always going toward war. It was only nature for all brothers to argue, even Poseidon argued with Hades sometimes. Finally Poseidon arrived to the empire state building. As he walked in the familiar guard nodded his head to Him and Poseidon nodded back.
Poseidon walked into the Empire state building, He saw all the floors and then took out his key. His Key had a keychain that had a trident on it, and a sea horse with "Surfs up" on its body. Poseidon put the key into the elevator emergency key spot. He turned the key to the right and then the elevator began to move up fast with the outside of the empire state building glowing.
Poseidon stood still keeping his ground the whole time, not even losing balance by the intense heights the elevator was taking him. As he walked out of the elevator he looked around. It felt good to be where he was right now. it might be his second favorite place next to the ocean, and where the solstice always seemed to take place. As he walked out of the elevator he saw the home of the gods. He was standing in the most magical place in the world, Mount olympus.
