"Your all Imbeciles!" yelled poseidon. His men had once again done it. How do you manage to ruin a whole supply of weapons. Poseidon took out his trident and aimed it at the weapons. There tip of the trident began to glow and a blast released from it destroying the supply of weapons that had been destroyed by his men. Poseidon sighed as his trident disappeared and then went over to the command center. Poseidon thought " right now I just want to get away from this place. Too much frustration is never good for the mind." He then got up and decided to leave his Atlantis and go somewhere where he could be at peace. He then decided to go to the lake by Camp Half-Blood just because he always felt good being by his son knowing was safe. As Poseidon stood up he walked. Before exiting the command room he said with a harsh tone "When I get back here I expect twice as much weapons made." His voice Echoed making sure everyone could hear him that was inside of the command room. Poseidon left the castle dissolving into water. Water came from a waved and slowly formed a liquid figure that soon became a solid. Poseidon had his white cotton button up shirt on. He wore Khaki shorts with it and brown sandals. He had made his head blonde like the sand and sat on the sand. As he stood on the sand he heard the waves go back and forth. He was finally back to his calm state of mind as his anger passed away. He began strolling around the shoreline of the lake. f anyone knew poseidon they knew he enjoyed every last ounce of peace. He stood there closing his eyes. He could feel the Ocean, He was one with the water of course. Though it was early and the waves were suppose to be big today Poseidon had changed his mind and made them calm due to his emotions. He just loved a calm sea, nothing was better. As he continued to hear the waves, slowly slowing down as they hit the shoreline. He stood there staring at the sea with his ocean green eyes. He had a feeling that something was watching him. He wasn't going to reveal he knew someone was there. He wanted to see if that person would reveal themselves or would Poseidon have to ask who was there creeping on him. He was at peace, nothing could upset him. Word Count: 433

It was somewhere the demigod could feel truely at peace with himself. That was the way it had always been - a place to think. Must be something in the water. The demigod could not help but think about everyhting that had happened this summer. Two new demigods had been found for a start and not just any old demigods but two children of Hades. Percy knew that children of the Big Three were rare. Otherwise he would have a cabin full of siblings. The only one he did have was Tyson but he was working in the forges down in their father's underwater palace. That was one thing that Percy had been unhappy about initially. He just couldn't get his head round the idea of having a cyclops for a half-brother and believed Poseidon was making fun of him. That being said, Percy knew himself that things were starting to settle for him now and that he loved Tyson as a brother.
There was a gentle sea breeze flowing through Percy's hair and the child of Poseidon kinda liked the feeling but it was time to get out of the water. Percy hated the feeling of having to go back to camp where everything is hectic because of this latest quest and what it brought. Percy sighed. He didn't know what to do with Luke. Kronos was evidently stalled for the time being but for how long? Hopefully the answers would come in due course. The demigod walked up onto the shore where the sand altered positions with each step he took. Percy picked up a clean t-shirt that he had brought with him from and put it on before things got chilly.
The son of Poseidon turned for one last look at the sea as if to say 'come on, tempt me for one more swim' only to see something unusually normal in a way. A column of water appared out of nothing before coming together in the shape of a man: Poseidon, God of the Sea and Percy's own father. It was not a usual situation - Percy's father coming to visit. The only time the pair had interacted was whenever something major had happened, resulting in Percy's arrival at Olympus.
Percy walked over and waited for a second before saying anything. Being a god, Percy did not know whether his father spoke first or what? There was a silence so Percy took it on himself to speak first, "Dad?"

Poseidon was expecting it to be some child of the camp just roaming around for some particular reason, but it might of been the fates who made the person roaming around his son, Percy. "When was the last time I had seen him? Maybe when he was on olympus? had time passed by that fast to the point where I couldn't remember the last time I saw my son." Poseidon turned his head slowly facing his son with ,his dark sea green eyes. Inside of Poseidons eyes you could see the exact same color of seaweed.
"Yes my child, it is I your father Poseidon." He said with a warm smile. The waves were still calm and swishing. Percy was of course his child, so it was no suprise to meet him by the lake. Poseidon knew exactly why he would be at sea, the only reason a child of poseidon would ever go out to sea. To think, that is where they were at there strongest and most serene.
Poseidon then decided to sit down on the sand. as he sat he wrapped his hands around his knees attaching his hands at the center of his knees. He then looked up and said "Come sit next to me Percy." He looked at percy with his black hair, which he had probably inherited from his mother and not Poseidon. He then turned his head back to the Sea not knowing ifPpercy had decided to sit next to him or decided to stand.
He couldn't have been prouder of his son, he was definetly someone that was a asset to the camp due to the fact he had saved it and saved Poseidon from a war with his brother Zeus. He then looked at Percy who was wearing a T-shirt. "My son, What troubles you" Poseidon said trying to seem like a concern father. Poseidon knew percy finding out he had a brother that was a cyclops was big enough. After just finding the person who had framed him for the lightning theif percy is probably confused.
There seem to be a new prophecy out there and Percy would be the one to take it. Though Percy had still a long time before he could find out what the great prophecy was. He looked at Percy with a look liked he was concerned what was on his mind. He seemed a bit uneasy, but Poseidon wasn't a mind reader.

Percy found himself looking into the sea-green eyes of his father, the Lord of the Sea. If anything, the eyes were a definite sign that Poseidon was his father. They had the same eyes but Poseidon's seemed older and more experienced than Percy's own set. The Sea God smiled. It was almost like he didn't what was going on - as if everything was fine at camp from his throne in Olympus or Atlantis or where ever his dad was coming from. Had he not even kept his eye on things recently. Percy did not dare to ask out of mixed feelings of fear and respect.
"Come sit next to me Percy."
The boy, taking it step by step, walked over to his father and sat down. This was the first moment that Percy could think of in which it was just the two of them without Zeus or anyone overshadowing the situation. It was just father and son with the Lake in front of them. It was no Olympus, that was for sure. It felt right in a way though, sitting with someone you cared about in front of a place where you felt completely at ease.
"My son, what troubles you?"
Where to begin? Percy took a second before answering his father, "Well . . . recently, Camp has taken in its first prisoner - Luke Castellan. He betrayed everyone and joined Kronos but now we've got him back here and it's just a waiting game. It's frustrating because no one knows what we are going to do with him and everybody's just trying to get along with their normal activities as well as any guard duties we've established to stop an attempt to free Luke. Chiron doesn't even seem to know what to do either." Percy had done it again. He started to talk and kept going. The demigod thought of the centaur, wondering what he must be thinking of the whole situation. The first meeting after the group returned with Luke, Chiron had kept kinda quiet. Maybe Poseidon could shed some light on the situation? A fresh perspective. A god's point of view.

Poseidon listened to every word Percy had to say without breaking eye contact once. He nodded here and then acknowledging the fact that he knew exactly what Percy was going through. He might be able to relate actually. When they captured Cronos it wasn't all fun and games at first but soon after they got a customer to it. Though they never really liked there father, and Poseidon knew Percy Liked Luke.
As Percy summed it up, he was never good with the being a father concept. He sat there staring at the sea for a while thinking of what to tell his child about Luke, or something that could ease his mind. He finally brought his attention back to his son staring him straight in the eye after he deliberated on what to say.
"Percy... What do you think is right? We could go on and on about how No one knows what to do. That is where the leaders come in. Percy you were never a follower, maybe you inherited that from your mom. Whatever you feel you should do to stop the tension that is coming from your camp friends you should do. If you think this is hard, you have a far journey in front of you my son." Poseidon said as he saw a dolphin arise from the ocean
It made some noises telling Poseidon the weapons were done and he was needed back at atlantis. Percy probably understood, just because he was the son of Poseidon and all and could understand creatures of the sea. Of course a long with horses. Poseidon nodded to the dolphin and then it quickly dive under the water.
"Percy I have to go soon, but before I leave I will give you advice. Against all odds, keep a eye on Luke he seems like he may be quite a trouble for you. Whoever is working with my father, your grandfather, Kronos can be deceptive, sly, and dangerous. Also, you were always a special child who enjoyed to be adventurous. Soon there will be a time where ,possibly, you may be faced with a decision that can change everything. Percy remember, what I said earlier. You will have harder choices in life, in the not so distant future, but as my son I believe that you will be able to make the right choice."
Poseidon gave a warm smile at Percy and his body started to turn into liquid slowly separating from his solid figure. As half of his face became a liquid he winked at Percy hoping he doesn't get tangled into the great prophecy when he becomes the age 16, though by the way things were looking Percy seemed like he would be the one. Though for some reason Poseidon wasn't as stressed about it. There was a difference between Percy and other demigods, he is one who had gained the trust of his father and pleased him.
He couldn't have asked for more from his son Percy other then to do what he thought was right. Then soon his whole body had disappeared from the lake. It seemed as if Poseidon had not entered the sea as the waves continued to move calm. It was only calm because he was happy to see his son. Who couldn't be especially if you weren't sure when the next time you were going to see him was. You had to at least give a fair goodbye. Though Poseidon felt he would pass his next quest and move on to do bigger things in life. Which father wouldn't have complete faith in there children?

• P E R C Y J A C K S O N •• • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • Now that Percy had heard his thoughts out loud, he felt different. It was as if the weight of the world had been lifted off of the demigod’s shoulders and Percy knew exactly how that felt, after the experiences of the last month or two. Percy sensed that he was more at eased but that may have been due to his close proximity with the sea. Either way it felt good knowing that things were out in the open now. What was slightly unnerving was the silence that followed as Poseidon thought of his response. Percy did not know now if he wanted to hear the answer. The very thing that made Luke’s betrayal that little bit more bitter and unpleasant was the fact that he had known a lot of people at camp and was friends with them. Even Percy had made a connection with him. Some connection that was.
When his father did speak, Percy listened as contently as it had been the other way round. What did he, Percy, think was right? Unfortunately dealing with war prisoners was not a speciality of Percy’s. The teenager knew that it fell to him to sort things out but it was just so damn confusing. Looking into his father’s eyes, Percy tried to find some form of definite answer in the depths of the Sea Lord’s mind. ”Where is it?” thought Percy to himself. It was just beyond the reach of the young boy but he did not get the chance to grab it for the connection between the two was broken. One of Poseidon’s dolphins had surfaced not far away from Percy was sitting with his dad. It passed on the intended message and that was when Percy knew he would not get a full, straight-forward answer from the man beside him.
Putting the focus onto their goodbye, Percy listened once again to what Poseidon had to say. It wasn’t a definite answer but then again, this was an Olympian and they were never keen on revealing something entirely before it happened. “A decision? What decision” blurted the youngster as his father stood up, giving one last smile before the sudden engulfing of his father by water. Quickly on his feet, Percy did not stand a chance of keeping his father here at camp now that the god had decided to leave. A saddened expression found its home on Percy’s face as he wished he just had more time with his dad. Taking one look of the bed of water in front of him for the walk back to camp, Percy left the lake and Zephynos Creek. “Until another day, Dad.”
Exit.
